After the victory over Fulham, Liverpool full of optimism. Brendan Rodgers believes his team will get better, starting with the face Stoke City on Boxing Day.

Stoke managed to draw against Liverpool at Anfield in October. However, after a win over Newcastle United last November, The Potters yet again to achieve maximum results. Ryan Shawcross and friends could only grab three draws plus one defeat.

On the other hand, Liverpool is being motivated. The win over Fulham colored with nice appearance Stewart Downing and Luis Suarez scored again, after fasting for four matches in the Premier League.

The match against Stoke at the Britannia Stadium on Tuesday (12/26/2012), was expected to re-produce maximum performance.

"We will be better in the second half of the season," Rodgers said as quoted by AP.

"We just need to continue to improve and continue to perform consistently. If we can do that, then we have a chance to continue to improve its position in the league."

On the other hand, Stoke also had its own targets, although it sounds simpler targets than targets Liverpool.

"We want 40 points. Was past that we need," said Tony Pullis.

"There are six or seven teams here that are truly extraordinary. While the rest are just trying to survive, and that's what we will do."
